About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer to join our team at Pact. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining exceptional ecommerce experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with clients to design and develop new sites and features.
  2. Deliver high-quality features on-time, often with limited design or requirements.
  3. Prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with the team to ensure timely completion.
  4. Develop beautiful front-end experiences with attention to detail and a passion for animation and transitions.
  5. Provide feedback on design completeness, feature feasibility, and implementation effort.
  6. Support team members with technical issues and challenges.
  7. Review code submissions to ensure quality, performance, and completeness.
  8. Participate in client meetings and demos, showcasing project progress and gathering technical requirements.
  9. 5+ years of experience as a Front-end or full-stack developer, with startup experience a plus.
  10. Proficiency in Git and a decent understanding of zsh or bash.
  11. Experience building, launching, and maintaining Shopify stores, including Liquid and ThemeKit.
  12. Appreciation for design and ability to balance fidelity with thoughtfulness.
  13. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in fast-paced projects.
  14. Knowledge of architecting applications and understanding business trade-offs.
  15. Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  16. Ability to present to clients with clarity and confidence.
Nice-to-Haves
  1. Experience with TypeScript, Netlify, Cloudflare Workers, or GraphQL.
  2. WCAG/ADA compliance experience.
  3. Familiarity with Figma or Sketch.
  4. Leadership skills and ability to drive team understanding.
  5. Unparalleled ability to think outside the box.
  6. Eagerness to try new frameworks or solutions.
