Position Overview:
As a Multi-Unit Financing Solutions Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the financial landscape for our clients and colleagues. Your expertise in multi-unit real estate financing (6 units or more) will be pivotal in driving success within our team.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive credit analysis in accordance with the standards established by the Credit Center, providing insightful recommendations.
  • Structure credit applications by identifying risks and developing financing solutions that align with customer requirements and the Bank's risk parameters.
  • Collaborate with the Multi-Residential Account Manager to determine construction or term financing needs.
  • Negotiate credit terms and conditions with the Credit Centre and SCHL, working closely with the Account Manager.
  • Gather feedback from account managers on draft credit applications, making necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with the Bank's profitability and quality standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation and file updates in partnership with account agents and the Credit Centre.
  • Serve as a credit resource within the team, contributing to the skill development of team members.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with multi-residential real estate activities, including construction loans and CMHC or conventional term loans.

Joining the Real Estate Finance sector means becoming part of a dynamic team of 12 professionals, reporting to the Associate Vice-President of Portfolio Management – Real Estate Finance Canada. Our team is recognized for its expertise and collaborative spirit in real estate financing. Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with six years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with four years of experience, or an undergraduate university certificate with eight years of experience.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Experience with SCHL multi-units of 6 units or more and construction loans.
  • Strong background in financial statement analysis.
