Job Title: Enterprise District Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled District Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). As a key sales leader, you will be responsible for driving new business and growing existing accounts for NetApp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of passionate and successful sales professionals to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive new business and expand existing accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales, inside sales, marketing, and sales support, to manage complex sales cycles.
- Implement value-selling and solution-selling processes to position NetApp as the leader and partner of choice in intelligent data solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and executive sponsors to drive long-term business growth.
- Coach and develop sales teams to achieve key account and territory plans.
- Lead daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure above-quota results.
- Previous experience in sales leadership, ideally focused on new business acquisition.
- Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position NetApp for on-prem and cloud offerings.
- History of cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners and alliances.
- Experience as a leader in a team-selling environment.
- Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
- Proven experience in pulling together different business units to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12+ years of related experience is desired with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the sales industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
