Job Title: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Sokil Transportation Group.

Job Summary:

The Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment, including trucks and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanics and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment, including trucks and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues with equipment
  • Order parts and maintain inventory
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate
  • Diesel engine repair specialization
  • Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization
  • Security and safety
  • Transportation/travel information
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities
  • Own tools/equipment
