Job Summary

LIFTEX EQUIPMENT RENTALS INC. is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshoot equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, utilizing your expertise to identify and diagnose issues.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required, and perform adjustments, repairs, or replacements as needed.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications, guaranteeing that our equipment meets the highest standards.
  • Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and servicing attachments and working tools, to ensure the longevity and efficiency of our equipment.
  • Language and Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and supervisors in English.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week, with a permanent work term.
