Lead Procurement Specialist

Educational Requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Conduct purchasing of general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services.
- Evaluate the needs of the organization to formulate specifications for necessary purchases.
- Draft detailed specifications for the equipment, materials, and supplies required.
- Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality and delivery standards are met.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of procurement staff.
- Analyze and review supplier quotations for cost-effectiveness.
- Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Assign contracts to suitable vendors.
- Set up and manage delivery schedules to meet operational timelines.
- Monitor the adherence to delivery schedules and address any issues that arise.
- Communicate with clients and suppliers to resolve any procurement-related challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement
- Permanent position
- Working language: English
- Work hours: 30 hours per week
