Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at 2696214 Ontario Corporation. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing equipment, materials, and business services to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase and Acquisition
    • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services to meet the needs of our organization.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Requirements Analysis
    • Analyze the requirements of our organization to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Negotiation and Contracting
    • Negotiate offers from suppliers to ensure the best possible terms and conditions.
    • Award contracts to appropriate parties and establish delivery schedules.
  • Logistics and Operations
    • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of our organization.
    • Monitor progress of delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to our clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months of experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
  • Skills
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
