Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement
    • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services to meet the needs of our organization.
    • Assess the requirements of our establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
    • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management
    • Negotiate offers from suppliers to ensure the best possible terms and conditions.
    • Consult with suppliers to ensure that their products and services meet our needs.
    • Determine contract terms and conditions, including delivery schedules and payment terms.
    • Award contracts to the most suitable suppliers.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication
    • Monitor the progress of delivery schedules and contact clients and suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
      • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
    • Personal Qualities
      • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, clients, and colleagues.
      • Organized and efficient, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
