About the Opportunity

WSP is seeking a highly skilled Engineer to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering Team in Kingston, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing and reviewing a variety of storm, water, and wastewater design tasks, including site servicing, feasibility studies, stormwater management, and grading design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and review of municipal engineering and land development projects, including roads, highways, site servicing, and stormwater management
  • Collaboration with architects, contractors, and clients to design infrastructure that supports community growth
  • Project management and business development, including proposal responses and business growth initiatives
  • Mentorship and support of engineering graduates and technologists
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent program
  • 3+ years of experience working as an engineer in land development and municipal engineering
  • Design knowledge of roads, highways, site servicing, stormwater management, and grading design
  • Working knowledge of the land development approvals process in Ontario
  • Sound knowledge of engineering standards, principles, practices, and techniques
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
