Morrison Hershfield, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a skilled Junior Inspector to join their transportation team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering or a related field, with a focus on transportation infrastructure. Previous experience working on MTO projects or municipal infrastructure projects is an asset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting field inspections to ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Documenting site activities and obtaining relevant information on contractor operations
  • Providing support to senior inspection staff and quality assurance teams
  • Assisting with quality control activities and compiling field data for review
  • Supporting contract administration staff as needed
