Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team at YUVRAJX INC. as a key member of our IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Maintenance and Administration: Ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and mainframe networks.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation and Installation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Problem-Solving and Support: Provide timely and effective problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our network and sensitive information.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and ensure data backups and disaster recovery operations are conducted efficiently.
  • Network Setup and Configuration: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
  • Web Development and Maintenance: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts to ensure our online presence is up-to-date and secure.
  • Technical Supervision: Supervise technical staff and provide guidance and support to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
