Position Overview

YUVRAJX INC. is seeking a dedicated Network Support Technician to enhance our technical team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational background and relevant experience in network management.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma, typically lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a related field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and associated computer workstations and peripheral devices.
  • Assess and install necessary computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems.
  • Provide effective problem-solving assistance to network users.
  • Implement security protocols for data, software, and hardware.
  • Conduct routine network operations, including start-up and shut-down procedures, while maintaining accurate control records.
  • Execute data backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Establish local area networks and ensure Internet connectivity.
  • Modify web pages, applets, and scripts as needed.
  • Research and apply metadata to websites, ensuring proper registration with search engines.
  • Respond to inquiries from website visitors and designers.
  • Oversee web server backup and recovery tasks.
  • Supervise and guide technical staff.
