About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at INNTECH FUTURE INC. as a user support technician. This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, applications, and software.
  • Problem-Solving: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • User Training: Offer advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use our systems effectively.
  • Log Maintenance: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Software Development: Participate in the redesign of applications and other software to improve user experience and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Network Support: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.

Experience
  • Experience Level: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.

  • Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition, ensuring they have the necessary skills to integrate into the workforce.
  • Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
