About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Reimar Construction and Forming. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
    • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Budgeting and Cost Control
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, including estimating costs and tracking expenses
    • Monitor and control project costs to ensure they are within budget
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of project team members, including subcontractors and vendors
    • Ensure that all team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities
  • Quality Control
    • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that projects are completed to a high standard
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit regular project reports to stakeholders, including project status, budgets, and timelines
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and project management skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
