Job Summary

Nu-Way Personnel Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for identifying and recruiting top talent to fill various positions within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Planning: Collaborate with management to identify current and prospective staffing requirements, ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
  • Job Posting and Advertising: Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Collect and screen applicants, evaluating their qualifications and experience to ensure the best fit for the company.
  • Employment Requirements: Advise job applicants on employment requirements, terms, and conditions of employment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Job Offers and Notifications: Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Staffing Policies and Procedures: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency throughout the organization.
  • Employee Relations: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes, and coordinate the termination of employment process.
  • Employee Development: Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training, ensuring employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Personnel Administration: Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties, ensuring accurate and efficient administrative support.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
