Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Doc's Restaurant & Pub Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and cooking of food, as well as overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and inventory management
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective service
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
