About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk/Host to join our team at Dave & Buster's, Inc. As a Front Desk/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their visit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Deliver an exceptional guest experience through proactive communication, attention to detail, and a passion for providing outstanding service.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
  • Game and Merchandise Sales: Process game and merchandise sales, handling cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Guest Flow Management: Manage guest flow, directing guests to available tables, and ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management, providing clear and concise information about menu items, promotions, and other important details.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals, providing support and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance, and farewells to guests.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to calmly respond to dissatisfied guests and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and move about the facility with ease.
