Job Title: Project Manager for Sustainable Agriculture Research

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at NSCAD University. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary research project focused on sustainable agriculture and circular economy.

Job Summary

The Project Manager will work closely with the research team, industry partners, and funding agencies to ensure the successful completion of the project. Key responsibilities include coordinating research streams, managing budgets, and overseeing grant reporting requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate research streams and ensure clear project plans and timelines are in place.
  • Manage project budgets and expenses, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
  • Oversee grant reporting requirements, including annual financial reports and final reports.
  • Act as primary point of contact for the research team, industry partners, and funding agencies.
  • Develop and implement a project communication plan, including knowledge dissemination activities.
Qualifications

A minimum of three years' experience in project management and a master's degree in business, science, humanities, or a related field is required. The successful candidate will have formal training in project management, demonstrated skill administering a budget, and proficiency with project management tools.
