Job Summary:

Thompson Bros. (CONSTR.) LP is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team in the construction management sector. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, bids, and contracts
  • Monitor and control project costs, including tracking expenses and identifying areas for cost savings
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project quality control and assurance processes
  • Participate in project meetings, including status updates, progress reports, and issue resolution

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in construction project coordination or a related field
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools, including project management software, spreadsheets, and word processing
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
  • Ability to obtain CSTS/OSSA or BSO/CSO Certification
  • Pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced construction environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in remote areas on a rotational schedule and may be required to travel to project sites.
