Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Principal Software Architect to join our growing Cloud Native Applications team. As a cross-functional, software development focused individual, you will possess a deep level of knowledge to guide our clients on their modernization journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to deliver maximum value in a short period of time, including discovery, design, and delivering POCs to multiple clients at a time.
  • Interface with clients to do discovery on an issue, create technical artifacts clearly describing your solution, and present your ideas to the client.
  • Kickoff new client engagements and be a positive representation of Caylent Inc.
  • Aid in the development and review of proposals and contracts.
  • Perform technical interviews for Architect and Engineer candidates.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Architects and Engineers.
  • Develop public facing content that is representative of the work Caylent Inc does and the problems we are solving.
Requirements
  • Expertise working with AWS.
  • Expertise writing, reviewing, and deploying using multiple different coding languages (nodejs, go, react, angular, typescript, python, etc).
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing professional services engagements.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and the ability to be cross-functional.
  • Possess a natural curiosity and excitement for solving complex technical problems and learning new technology.
  • Technical background in application development.
  • Expertise working in client facing environments.
  • Expertise building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in consulting or professional services.
  • Experience with testing and automation.
  • Experience or exposure with UI/UX related deliverables.
  • Experience with other cloud-related solutions.
