Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the IoT Systems and Connectivity Services at Semtech. This role plays a crucial part in making strategic decisions, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Location: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the financial strategy for ISC in line with company goals.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, analyze variances, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor key financial metrics to assess performance and provide insights for enhancements.
  • Analyze revenue trends and customer segmentation to maximize profitability.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline processes while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with business objectives.
  • Lead ad-hoc financial analysis projects and strategic initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, preferably in SaaS or tech.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models and revenue metrics.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience and strong people management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and expert Excel knowledge.

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.

Compensation:

  • $84,000 CAD annually.
