Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analysis Manager to lead our IT Business Analysis Team at T & T Supermarket. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing business relationship services, as well as managing project plans, requirements, budget, schedule, communication, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Relationship Services: Plan, develop, implement, and manage the provision of business relationship services, including eCommerce/digital channels where applicable.
  • Project Leadership: Create and manage project plans, requirements, budget, schedule, communication, and delivery.
  • Research and Analysis: Research emerging technology, solutions, and vendors, as well as industry best practices, to address business needs and priorities in a cost-effective approach.
  • Team Management: Supervise, develop, and mentor team members in business liaison skills, vendor engagements, requirement definition, recommendation/proposal development, and project management.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Provide mentorship, coaching, support, and develop growth of subordinates, as well as serve as a connection between the Information Technology Department and business units it services.
  • Issue Resolution: Organize and make provisions to provide 2nd level support to resolve operational and/or business application support issues upon request, including eCommerce/digital channels where applicable.
  • Prioritization and Scheduling: Manage discussions with business users to establish system development projects' priorities, requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines, then schedule appropriate IT business analysis and coordinate development resources to cope.
  • Team Direction and Management: Assist IT Senior Manager, Business Engagement in the management and direction setting for the IT Business Analysis Team, including setting priorities, budget development, coordinating resources, and reporting business analysis activities.
  • Staffing and Budgeting: Hire, manage, and assist in the hiring/termination of IT Business Analysis Team to maintain optimal performance of job duties, and develop subordinates to meet the service demands of the company.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the control of IT budgets and expenditures.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or Commerce is preferred.
  • Experience: Possess 10 years or more with supervising experience in various information technology services support functions, including but not limited to business analysis, business application system project management, business performance analysis, and/or business consulting role in information technology and process re-engineering.
  • Team Management: Previous experience in managing a team of Business Analyst is mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, including communicating with all levels of management, exceptional presentation skills, budget/schedule/resource control, risk management, stakeholder management, requirements management, and scope management.
  • Certification: Certification, such as Business Analysis, Project Management, or other designation relating to application of IT in business operation/management, is an asset.
  • Business Acumen: Sound understanding of contemporary retail business, including eCommerce/digital channels hardware and software architectures.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Service-oriented with good interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Initiative and Adaptability: Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and responsiveness in completing tasks.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate detailed technical information clearly, understandably, and effectively to non-technical staff.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Must be well-organized with rigorous attention to details and follow-through.
  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Strong negotiation and consensus-building skills with the ability to recognize and resolve conflicts.
  • Delegation and Coaching: Efficient delegator, team coach, committed to continuous learning and improvements.
  • Travel: Willing and able to travel in North America as needed.
  • Language: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to communicate in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an asset.
