Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Engineering Manager to join our team at Relieve Consulting Services Canada Inc. in Toronto, Ontario. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of topographic survey works and large-scale civil projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and plan equipment and instruments for topographic survey works and large-scale civil projects.
  • Coordinate with technical and departmental teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Supervise work teams to collect data, calculate volumes, and ensure accurate locations.
  • Operate and maintain topography and civil engineering equipment.
  • Manage stakeout planning, loading, and unloading of field data.
  • Control geometric work and calculate errors.
  • Coordinate software updates and geometric design of work.
  • Implement quality plans and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geodesy Engineering or a related field.
  • Post-graduate studies or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of topographic survey methods, structures, and geometric calculations.
  • Ability to read and use information from maps, graphic drawings, and field measurements.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of progressive experience in surveying, with experience in construction and engineering surveys.
  • Leadership experience in heavy civil infrastructure, highways, and bridges or rail and transit sectors.
  • Experience working on mega projects over $1 billion in the last 5 years.
  • Valid driver's license and experience with GPS, Robotic Total Stations, and computer-aided design software.
