Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Jani Moving & Delivery Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Communicate with central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Local transportation/travel experience
  • Will train
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 to 50 hours per week
  • English language
