Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team and manage our contractor segment in South West Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing aggregate equipment sales and rentals within their assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a geographical sales territory to increase aggregate equipment sales and rentals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed company minimum sales and profit goals.
- Regularly update and maintain customer records in a CRM system.
- Travel routinely, including overnights when necessary, to meet with customers and attend manufacturer training or tradeshows.
- Proven track record of success in an outside sales role, with experience scheduling sales calls and documenting sales information.
Requirements
- Valid passport for travel to the US for manufacturer training or tradeshows.
- Proven sales experience in the construction industry, with a focus on heavy equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on achieving sales goals.
