Job Title: Application Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst to join our team at GTT, LLC. This is a 12-month contract position that will involve providing code deployment services for various energy projects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth deployment and maintenance of business applications across multiple environments. This will involve deployment and maintenance of business applications written in C#.Net, PowerBuilder, C, Pro*C, Perl, Java, Kornshell, and database deployments in MS SQL and Sybase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deployment and maintenance of business applications.
  • Source code control and Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Development and modification of automated tools/scripts for deployment.
  • On-call support as needed.
  • Adherence to quality assurance guidelines and timelines.
  • Status reporting to the Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in application maintenance and development.
  • Strong knowledge of C#.Net, PowerBuilder, C, Pro*C, Perl, Java, Kornshell, MS SQL, and Sybase.
  • Experience with source code control and Application Lifecycle Management.
  • Proficiency in scripting tools, such as PowerShell.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps Server.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 or higher.
  • Experience with JIRA or Revision Control System (RCS).
  • Experience with Powerbuilder.
