Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Coordinator to join our team at CB Canada. As a Document Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing mail, scanning documents, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mailroom Operations: Sort and distribute mail within the building, ensuring timely delivery to the appropriate departments.
  • Document Scanning: Scan documents in batches, verify image clarity, and rescan if necessary. Store documents in corresponding boxes for onward shipment.
  • Indexing and Filing: Index documents accurately and quickly, monitoring progress against workload. Prioritize document types during high-volume days.
  • Claims Processing: Collect claims cheques, hand over cheques over $25,000 to the supervisor, and process premium refunds.
  • Printing and Faxes: Print claim files as required, prioritize urgent requests, and process incoming faxes.
  • Scanner Maintenance: Clean scanners daily, calibrate scanner performance, and report any issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Document Management: Experience with document management systems and procedures.
  • Process Mail: Ability to sort and distribute mail efficiently.
  • Printing and Scanning: Proficiency in printing and scanning documents.
  • Computer Proficient: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
