Key Responsibilities:

  1. Development and review of environmental work programs and proposals
  2. Coordination and management of field operations related to our services (e.g., Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments, soil management, remediation, and other related activities)
  3. Oversight of the preparation and/or quality assurance and quality control review of technical documentation
  4. Engagement with clients to facilitate the development and execution of projects
  5. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical work, including field methodologies, reporting, and client outputs
  6. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  7. Commitment to fostering a positive work environment
  8. Supporting and/or developing Health & Safety initiatives
  9. Collaboration with other disciplines at EnVision on multi-disciplinary projects
  10. Travel to various sites as required
  11. Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  1. Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a comparable role or environment
  3. Licensed as a Professional Engineer or Professional Geoscientist in Ontario, fulfilling the criteria as a "Qualified Person" per O.Reg.153/04
  4. Familiarity with regulations pertinent to environmental site assessments and remediation programs (e.g., CSA, TSSA, O.Reg.153/04, O.Reg.406/19, Reg.903, etc.)
  5. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for site travel (mileage reimbursed), including valid vehicle insurance
  6. Proven expertise in client relationship management and strong leadership abilities
  7. Comfort in engaging with the public, clients, contractors, and colleagues
  8. Demonstrated capacity to work independently with minimal oversight
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities, with a proactive approach to time-sensitive matters
