Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize resident suites, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and common areas according to a pre-set schedule.
  • Perform laundry services for residents as needed.
  • Identify, report, and log potential maintenance issues to management.
  • Maintain the housekeeping room, equipment, and carts in safe and sanitary condition.
  • Replenish housekeeping carts and manage cleaning chemicals safely.

Requirements

  • At least two years of similar experience in the hospitality or senior-living industry.
  • Completed Grade 10 high school education or equivalent, along with the WHMIS program.
  • Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
  • Self-direction and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding and respect for the needs of seniors, their families, and other professional services engaged with our residents.

Important Note

We require all new hires to be fully vaccinated as approved by Health Canada and to undergo a Criminal Record Check and TB test within the first month of employment.
