About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage approximately 610 active medium projects with minimal assistance from Management.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve project issues and resource constraints within the team and with moderate assistance.

  • Reporting: Establish and practice standard project reporting procedures to clients and management.
Client Management
  • Client Satisfaction: Manage client satisfaction by efficiently managing client expectations with minimal assistance from Management.

Product Development
  • Guidance: Make recommendations on drug development and regulatory guidelines to clients.
Business Management

  • Timeline Management: Create and maintain client timelines.
  • Deliverables: Create and maintain deliverables within Change Point.
  • Financial Management: Contribute to Unit monthly forecasts by managing project Estimated Monetary Value (EMV) and tracking reporting of revenue Risks and Opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Find opportunities to improve performance of PDS PM Department with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive the performance of the PDS PM Department, the site, and the Network (as appropriate).
People Management
  • Onboarding: Support onboarding and training for new hires within the PDS PM Department.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
Requirements
  • Education: College Diploma in a related field.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Engineering, or Business is an asset.
Experience
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years industry experience.
  • Project Management Experience: Minimum 2 years experience managing projects or clients.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Project Management/Business management experience is an asset.
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
