We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Garcha Bro's Meat Shop & Poultry as a Retail Meat Cutter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring they meet our high standards.
- Cut and Trim Meats: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat for our customers.
- Wrap and Package Meats: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Remove Bones and Weigh Meats: Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Cut Poultry and Price Meat Products: Cut poultry into parts and price meat products, maintaining a thorough understanding of our pricing structure.
- Sell Meats to Customers: Sell meats to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Grind Meats and Make Special Sausages: Grind meats and make special sausages, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
- Slice Cooked Meats and Prepare Displays: Slice cooked meats and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, maintaining a visually appealing and organized store.
- Prepare Special Orders: Prepare special orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train, providing on-the-job training and support.
- Work Setting: Butcher shop environment, working with meat products and equipment.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
