About the Role

Precision Rentals is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Millwright to join our team in Red Deer. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth installation, maintenance, and repair of our centrifuge equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, align, fit, dismantle, and move centrifuges, skids, motors, hydraulic systems, and pumps to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Inspect and examine Centrifuge and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions, and adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Operational Support: Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, loaders, and forklifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery.
  • Quality Assurance: Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery to ensure it meets our high standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless execution of projects and tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma and registration as a Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright.
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience working with or on drilling rig equipment is considered an asset.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings, and excellent problem-solving skills.
