About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technologist to join our team at ABISH TECH INC. As a Mechanical Technologist, you will play a key role in assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, preparing design, drawings, and specifications, and designing tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Design and develop tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures to meet the needs of our manufacturing processes.
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials to ensure quality and performance.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects and initiatives.
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Supervise, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and attention to detail.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
