We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Portal Consultant to join our team at S.i. Systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP Portal configuration, testing, and development, as well as experience working with SAP Fiori and HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and enhance Portal configuration in ECC 6.0 and HANA environments to ensure optimal performance and stability.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing of Portal functionality to identify and resolve issues.
  • Implement SAP Fiori Launchpad and personalize applications with SAP Fiori to improve user experience.
  • Analyse and resolve issues related to Portal development and Portal performance to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Work with the Basis team to bridge the gap between Functional and Technical teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Transfer functional and technical knowledge to the project team through information sessions, written instructions, and documents to ensure knowledge sharing and expertise transfer.
  • Understand various program and function calls and how they interrelate with SAP and the Portal to ensure comprehensive system understanding.
  • Assist with problem solving from an ABAP and WebDynpro perspective to resolve complex system issues.
  • Work with the SAP Security and Authorization team to identify, create, or change user authorization roles to ensure secure system access.
  • Analyse and make recommendations on issues related to SAP Portal Accessibility to ensure inclusive system design.
  • Identify business and technology trends that create opportunities for improvement and the impact on the organization's architecture as well as business strategies to inform system development and enhancement.
  • Recommend appropriate changes to the existing architecture and provide alternative solutions, methodologies, and strategies to ensure system optimization and innovation.
