Sr. Director, Operations Equipment Job Summary:

The Sr. Director, Operations Equipment leads the Tim Hortons Operations Equipment team in managing the innovation and renovation of restaurant equipment. This role involves cross-functional work with a focus on restaurant-level process and equipment solutions that reduce complexity and improve franchisee profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize back of house operations to improve efficiencies, broaden scope of offerings, minimize maintenance, and lengthen equipment lifespan.
  • Work with vendors on RFP processes.
  • Oversee product and project management.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment or operations in the food service industry, QSR experience preferred.
  • Prior experience managing and planning large-scale projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Project-related travel (0-25%), primarily in continental US & Canada with occasional travel outside North America.
  • Ability to work out of the Toronto, Ontario office on a hybrid basis.
