About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Rental Coordinator to join our team at Cooper Equipment Rentals. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our rental services to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process rental requests and communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate findings to staff daily.
  • Process new rental contracts and manage cycle billing, contract filing, and equipment exchanges.
  • Coordinate with the service department to resolve rental equipment and service/repair issues.
  • Dispatch and coordinate with drivers to deliver construction equipment to customer job sites.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in customer service, retail, construction, or a similar field.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently (job aids available to assist).
  • Valid Class G driver's license is an asset.
  • Comfortable with computers and knowledge of Systematic is an asset.
  • Self-starter, customer service oriented, and team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.
