Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using your expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation, ensuring that all work is properly logged and tracked.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications and performs to the highest standards.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
