Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Forensic Community Nurse to join our team at the Forensic Regional Clinic, BC Mental Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert care to individuals with complex mental health and substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of regional clinic staff to ensure efficient and effective client care delivery.
- Act as a clinical resource for the multidisciplinary team, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and continuity of care.
- Ensure the dissemination of information concerning BC Review Board matters to staff and clients in a timely manner.
- Coach team members and coordinate training for regional program staff.
- Coordinate requests for vacation days, special education, and other leaves of absence.
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an RN or RPN with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- Three years' of recent, related experience working with individuals with severe and persistent psychiatric illness, including one year supervisory experience.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
