Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Pharmacie Geneviève Labonté. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prescription Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of prescription information to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing.
- Client Data Entry: Enter client information into our database to maintain accurate records.
- Pharmacist Support: Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including preparing medications and maintaining inventory.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of medications and pharmaceutical products.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Compound and Package: Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products as required.
- Third-Party Billing: Bill third-party insurers for services rendered.
- Computer and Technology: Utilize MS Word and other software to perform tasks efficiently.
- Security and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and policies.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Pharmacy or drugstore environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, team player, reliable, and ability to multitask.
