Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Pharmacie Geneviève Labonté. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness
  • Enter client information into our database system
  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and answering customer inquiries
  • Maintain inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Prepare medications for clients and compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Clean and maintain equipment, including autoclaves and refrigerators
  • Bill third-party insurers and maintain accurate records
  • Interpret physician's specifications and maintain inventory of equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including medications and supplies
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
