Job Title: Pharmacy Technical Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Pharmacie Geneviève Labonté. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, maintaining inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products, and providing support to pharmacists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information
  • Maintain inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Provide support to pharmacists
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Compound, package and label pharmaceutical products
  • Bill third party insurers
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams
  • Interpret physician's specifications
  • Maintain inventory of equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity
  • Work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Standing for extended periods
