The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grocery Department Lead to join our team at one of our food stores. Reporting to the Grocery Manager, this role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Grocery Manager to maintain high standards of department presentation, cleanliness, sanitation, merchandising, inventory control, and purchasing procedures.
  • Provide guidance and direction to grocery department staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, merchandising guidelines, and performance expectations.
  • Assist in scheduling department personnel to effectively meet operational needs and customer demands.
  • Proactively address and resolve issues such as customer inquiries, supply shortages, and staffing concerns.
