We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Makka Halal Meats and Grocery. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet the high standards of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meats: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to prepare for processing or cutting.
- Meat Preparation: Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
- Wrapping and Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale.
- Meat Handling: Remove bones from meat, weigh meats for sale, and price meat products.
- Sales and Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, slice cooked meats, and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Work Setting: Supermarket/grocery store environment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, attention to detail, physically demanding, handling heavy loads, and hand-eye coordination.
