Job Title: Staff Psychologist

The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Psychologist to join our team in the Department of Psychology and Health Studies. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical supervision to students, delivering direct services to clients, and contributing to the growth and development of our program.

Job Summary:

The Staff Psychologist will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical supervision to students in our practicum training program
  • Delivering direct services to clients, including assessment and intervention
  • Monitoring and evaluating student performance
  • Providing clinical supervision to junior faculty prior to registration
  • Ensuring clinic services adhere to provincial and national standards
  • Generating and managing clinic referrals
  • Forming and maintaining relationships with third-party organizations
  • Keeping accurate and timely records of clinical service provision
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a CPA-accredited program or an APA-accredited program
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
  • Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) within the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
  • Training and/or supervised experience in providing clinical supervision
  • Experience with administrative and organizational duties involved in managing a clinical practice
Preferred Qualifications:

We are seeking candidates with experience in providing clinical supervision, particularly with children and adolescents. Preference will be given to those who can supervise/provide assessment services to children and adolescents.
