Staff Psychologist Position

The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Psychologist to join our team in the Department of Psychology & Health Studies. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical supervision to students, delivering direct services to clients, and contributing to the growth and development of our training clinic.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical supervision to students in their practicum training and as part of formal coursework
- Deliver direct services to clients, including assessment and intervention
- Monitor and evaluate student performance, ensuring they meet the standards of our CPA-accredited program
- Provide clinical supervision to junior faculty prior to registration
- Ensure clinic services adhere to provincial and national standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and professionalism
- Generate and manage clinic referrals, fostering strong relationships with third-party organizations
- Keep accurate and timely records of clinical service provision, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the development of didactics and teaching materials for clinical seminars and coursework
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a CPA-accredited program or an APA-accredited program
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
- Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) within the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
- Training and/or supervised experience in providing clinical supervision
- Experience with administrative and organizational duties involved in managing a clinical practice, including generating and managing referrals, forming and maintaining relationships with relevant third parties, and maintaining accurate records
