Pastry Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook Helper to join our team at Gateaux Galore. As a Pastry Cook Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our pastry team in the preparation and production of high-quality baked goods.
Key Responsibilities- Food Safety and Handling: Maintain a high level of food safety and handling skills to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
- Material Transportation: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials efficiently and safely.
- Machine Operation: Assist in operating mixing and grinding machines, and feed and unload processing machines as needed.
- Quality Control: Check products and packaging for basic quality defects and report any issues to the team.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
As a Pastry Cook Helper at Gateaux Galore, you will work in a fast-paced bakery environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
