About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook Helper to join our team at Gateaux Galore. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for assisting our pastry cooks in preparing and packaging a variety of baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pastry cooks in food preparation, including measuring and mixing ingredients, and operating machinery.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials as needed.
  • Check products and packaging for quality defects and assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with process control and machine operators to ensure efficient production.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment

Our bakery is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and machinery. As a Pastry Cook Helper, you will be required to stand for extended periods and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) regularly.

What We Offer
