Role Overview
The Regional Director of Partnerships will serve as the primary liaison for cultivating relationships with key stakeholders in provincial government, the financial sector, industry, and academia within their designated region. This role is crucial in representing Stonewood Group Inc. at significant regional events and acting as a corporate ambassador, while also playing a vital role in promoting and overseeing the execution of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate in the formulation and implementation of strategies with regional stakeholders.
• Identify and nurture relationships with financial partners interested in supporting Stonewood Group Inc.-funded initiatives.
• Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to enhance stakeholder relationships aligned with organizational objectives.
• Establish and maintain connections with pivotal cleantech industry partners.
• Address diverse stakeholder relations challenges to meet business needs.
• Collect and disseminate information regarding sustainable development initiatives in the region, including relevant public and private programs.
• Engage in key industry and government working groups, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Travel Requirements
Some travel may be necessary within the region and to the national capital.
Qualifications
• A university degree in business, finance, economics, or engineering.
• Over 8 years of comprehensive business experience, including a minimum of 3 years in business development, stakeholder relations, strategic partnerships, or product management.
• Recent experience in the cleantech sector with a robust network across finance, small to medium enterprises, industry, provincial government, or academia.
• Proven ability to leverage internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and facilitate decision-making processes.
• A successful history of managing projects involving both private sector and government stakeholders.
• Experience with organizations of varying sizes, from startups to large corporations.
• Capacity to elevate professionalism and sophistication within a dynamic and evolving environment.
Skills and Expertise
• In-depth knowledge of key cleantech policies and issues, with a strong grasp of technology demonstration and commercialization.
• Ability to translate strategic stakeholder relations and communication goals into actionable project targets.
• Strong analytical skills to develop and present comprehensive business cases that encompass business, technical, and policy perspectives.
• Proficient in synthesizing complex ideas to formulate optimal plans and implement long-term strategies.
• Exceptional relationship management skills to build and maintain credibility with a diverse range of external stakeholders.
• Superior written and verbal communication abilities, adept at engaging with various audiences.
