Position Overview

Seamax Trading Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Manager to oversee our procurement operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient acquisition of materials and supplies necessary for our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Coordination: Lead and manage a team responsible for purchasing and distribution activities.
  • Budget Management: Develop and oversee budgets, ensuring effective control of expenditures.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and motivate team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Policy Implementation: Formulate and enforce purchasing policies and procedures to streamline operations.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure favorable terms.
  • Claims Processing: Review and address claims against suppliers efficiently.
  • Reporting: Supervise the preparation of procurement reports to track performance.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory records.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position involves overseeing a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.
