Role OverviewWe are seeking a UGC Segment Specialist for our Western Canada region to provide technical sales, service, and market exposure for our technical offerings in the underground construction industry.
Responsibilities- Maintain and expand relationships with target accounts, engineering firms, contractors, and underground construction organizations.
- Provide onsite and offsite technical support and training of our chemical injection products and equipment.
- Sell target accounts by providing account-centric product solutions, driving new technology, and expanding relationships.
- Develop and support project forecasting tools, including project timelines related to product procurement and sales.
- Conduct market analysis, identify trends, and develop action plans for prioritized and assigned accounts.
- Maintain a high degree of technical expertise across all product lines and market applications.
- Represent our business by attending tradeshows, seminars, and promoting products and technologies through hands-on demonstrations.
- Mining Engineering or Mining Technology degree desired.
- Knowledge of 'Mine Backfill' is a plus.
- Knowledge of Concrete and admixture technology also a plus.
- Working and demonstrated knowledge of ground support technologies in an underground mining environment.
- 5 years of industry experience, including sales and business experience related to the mining industry.
- Sprayed and in situ concrete, including mix designs and shotcrete applications.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid passport and driver's license with the ability to travel 50% or more.
